29 APRIL - 8 MAY 1429 IN HISTORY: JOAN OF ARC LIBERATES ORLEANS - ANNUAL COMMEMORATION - A FESTIVAL WEEK - Brilliant For Medieval Enthusiasts.........
......also Patriots Too, this is what the annual 21 June 1404 Glyndwr Festival should be like in Machynlleth with some effort and creative patriotic partcipation it could be too, not wasting time playing at spuedo patriotism and dodgy juvenile politcs as Adam 'Carry On Camping' Phillips indulges in constantly to self publicise his over stretched ego, a Patriotic Imposter the likes of which, there are sadly too many of in and around the Patriotic Fringe in these time!
HHHhhhmmm!!! See that and below, I am tempted, I am really, really tempted to do an escape from the Royal Wedding myself and head for Orleans, France for the Festival Commemorating the Liberation of Orleans by Joan of Arch on 29 April 1429.

I know I could do it in another year but come on, Brynle Williams was only 62 and I am older than him and very mindful of possibility that I could pop off sooner as later. So, am thinking on this and if Orleans is a go I got to start organising it fast and get prepared, find my Passport etc. If going depends on whether or not there are any Anti - Royal Wedding Events in Wales at all, if not announced by deadline of 11th April then why should I bother if no one else is? So, we shall see if others are rising to the occaision then I could hardly go and let others get on with it after I have been Anti - Royal Wedding Rabble Rousing these months past. No action in Wales then Orleans, France looks quite possibly a case of here I come. Otherwis it could still be a day running around Y Rhondda with a Red Flag and feeding the Sheep on Bwlch Y Clawdd or maybe Primrose Hill after running around London with a Welsh Republican Flag?

We shall see, might even consider showing up in Llanelli, even Llandovery but Llangefni a bit too far reaaly, did that trip last year. Depending on how serious they get up there about challenging the English Crown and need for Ynys Mon to be relieved as Orleans was on 29 May 1429. Though Adam and his Fflintshire Fusiliers as Pobl Gwynedd Is Conway, should play out the part of Joan of Arc and her relief or Orleans, up for relief of Llangefni? Not 'Hwntws'. Whatever, indulge yourselves in some history on Joan of Arc and the relief of Orleans on 29 April 2011. All links below credit to Google:
