Note if you want to mark anniversary of the American Civil War and your a Confederate Sympathiser as I used to be many years ago, then you may mark the start of the Civil War at a Welsh Confederates Grave in Ewenny as you will have seen in the blog post above. There are numerous Welsh Connections with the American Civil War, including with the Confederacy, I have already posted up much on this not least on many of the issues surrounding the Heritage of the Old South as flying of the Confederate Battle Flag etc.

    Liverpool is markng this anniversary, why not Wales? If anyone from WAG & Visit Wales reads this, you need to act on it, not sleep on it! It could bring in some American Tourists to Wales, so go for it fast. Plus anyone from Western Mail or Daily Post who might read this, I suggest you do ACW and Wales featres on or about 12 April 2011.
