ngwesty'r Talbot, Tregaron ar nos Wener a bore Sadwrn, 23-24 Mawrth 2012. 
Bron yn union 200 mlynedd ers ei eni ar 3 Ebrill 1812, bydd y Gymdeithas yn cyfarfod yn ei dref enedigol i ddathlu ei waith dros heddwch rhwng cenhedloedd y byd gyda sgwrs ar y nos Wener ac oedfa ar y bore Sadwrn.Nos Wener, 23 Mawrth, 7.30yh, ceir sgwrs gan Gwyn Griffiths am fywyd a gwaith Henry Richard yn y Talbot. Cyhoeddir llyfr newydd Gwyn, 'Henry Richard - Apostle of Peace and Welsh Patriot', ym mis Mawrth eleni. Ynddo  mae'n olrhain hanes y dyn hynod yma o Dregaron a gododd faterion Cymreig 
 ar lawr Ty'r Cyffredin am y tro cyntaf erioed ac a drefnodd gyfres o 
gynadleddau heddwch dylanwadol ar draws Ewrop ganol y 19eg ganrif. Bydd Gwyn yn rhannu peth o'i ymchwil gyda'r gynulleidfa nos Wener. Cymdeithas y Cymod, the Fellowship of Reconciliation in Wales, will 
celebrate Henry Richard, the "Apostle of Peace" at the Talbot hotel, 
Tregaron on Friday-Saturday, 23-24 March 2012. Almost exactly 200 years 
since he was born on 3 April 1812, the Fellowship will meet in his home 
town to celebrate his work for peace in the world with a talk on the 


 Friday evening and a service on the Saturday morning.
On Friday, 23 March, 7.30pm, there will be a talk by Gwyn Griffiths about 
Henry Richard's life and work in the Talbot. Gwyn's new book, 'Henry 

Richard - Apostle of Peace and Welsh Patriot', will be published in March. 


 In it he explores the history of this extraordinary man from Tregaron who 

for the first time ever raised Welsh affairs in the House of Commons and 
who organised a series of influential peace conferences across Europe 
during the mid 19th century. Gwyn will share some of his research with the 
audience on Friday night. All are welcome. (Please note that the talk will 
be in Welsh.) 
On Saturday, 24 March, 10.30am, Dr Robin Gwyndaf will lead a brief service
